Robotic cut experiment

2021.08-2021.10 University of Pennsylvania 21fall core studio Group work Instructuor:Andrew Saunders My role: Video editing, grasshopper script, roctic manufacturing and digram drawing The design start with studying scupture"Linear Construction No. 2". We then took the resulting surfaces and used them to construct a manifold volume that was auitable for fabrication and modified the rails to create a unique surface texture. And then we use a style transfer CNN to propagate features to design a ceiling. The goal of the process was to have the CNN identify key features of our volume and propagate those features over a much larger space in ways that were interesting and unexpected. And next I use robotic arm (hotware cut) to create the pysical ceiling roof.
